Alright, the first shave with the Big Ben Super Stainless razor is quite nice despite the blades dullness / lack of sharpness, if you have sensitive skin this razor will do you wonders. Its definitely not going to compete with other brands like 7am or feather, which I would expect more from a super stainless name. I would recommend this razor for beginners since the forgiveness to prevent cutting is extreme for your face.
Fresh out of the package the blade measures a 49 which is pretty dull compared to the competition. if you want more info on measurements check out Razor Blade Measurements.
With regards to the packaging, I would consider it pretty standard via it's typical cardboard box. The Big Ben super stainless razor blades are packaged nicely in a thick paper. The front cover is designed with a photo of the Big Ben, you would think the company is from England knowing that. However Big Ben Razor Blades are produced by LORDCo, a razor blade manufacturer based in Alexandria, Egypt. Closer to London than North America though.
Specifically to Big Ben super stainless Razor Blades. This the brand that hooked me on the more traditional shaving using safety razors. Once you develop a good pattern its incredibly easy to get great results with zero irritation, again despite it's dullness. Be patient and learn the pattern of your facial hair for best results, there should be zero tugging on the hair.
For an optimal shave I recommend a premium quality double edge razor and shaving soap, the Big Ben super stainless Razors are compatible with any Double Edge Razor head including slant, comb or butterfly.
