What can I say. This razor sucks IF and only IF - New to shaving and want to cut your face up and wear tiny squares of toilet paper on your face for going to work or a night out, use this razor blade.
The idea of reviewing this blade literally gave me the chills and absolutely bothered me because I knew it was going to get bloody. It sure did.
Measuring at 45, if you want more info on measurements check out Razor Blade Measurements.
For the first shave I decided to create a thicker than usual lather, once applied I started with the cheek area and it was surprisingly smooth but once I got to the neck area the ergonomics of the blades combined with my sensitive skin made for an excruciatingly unpleasant experience.
Second pass wasn't nearly as bad as the blade appears to dull its edge significantly fast at first and made for a relatively smooth shave, I had to be careful around the chin area but the neck area turned out good.
Gillette 7 O'clock is on the cheaper side for blades so if you don't mind the initial sharpness or that of an obsidian knife scratching you, then try it out.
For an optimal shave I recommend a premium quality double edge razor and shaving soap, Gillette 7 O'clock blade are compatible with any Double Edge Razor head including slant, comb or butterfly.
